This painting represents the resilience of Palestinians and how there is no getting rid of us, no matter how hard some may think they are trying. We shine!!! We’re embedded.

Again, drawing inspiration from the buildings of The Commercial Press, the nails also allude to a sign. When hung on a gallery wall, it looks as if the painting itself is nailed into the wall.
